Tasting Notes:
Nose - A wonderful balance of Sherry. Notes of burnished leather, roasted nuts, fruite cake, toffee apples, sultana, damp peat, and sherry soaked raisins
Palate - Sweet start. Light, tea-like tannins, treacle toffee, chestnut, ginger spiciness
Finish - Embers, oak, Dundee cake. Very long. Becomes a little tight with time. Layered and complex. A very soothing whisky, with the depth and maturity desired in a whisky which you would expect from 50 years in the finest sherry casks
